Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Arnprior is a lower-tier town in Renfrew County with an at-large council (no wards). Mayor, Deputy Mayor (County representative) and five Councillor seats included.
- DEPUTY MAYOR ACCLAIMED: County Councillor Dan Lynch was the only certified candidate for Deputy Mayor (Representative at County Council) and is acclaimed — the same County-representative seat he holds now under a new title (previousOffice 'Incumbent'). Mayor and Councillor races are contested.
- Candidate source: the Town's certified-list notice (Aug 25, 2026) and its PDF (https://media-003-ca.cdn.govstack.com/arnprior-ca/media/lo2fld0m/2026-certified-list-of-candidates-town-of-arnprior.pdf). Sitting council from the Town's Council page; retrieved 2026-10-09.
- Councillor Ted Strike (appointed 2025 to replace Billy Denault) is not on the certified list. All other sitting members are on the ballot.
- The Town's council page gives no member emails (it points to a contact directory), so none recorded. The certified list prints phone numbers and mostly personal webmail addresses; none copied except one campaign-domain address.
