Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Beamsville is not a municipality: it is a community in the Town of Lincoln (Niagara Region). This record carries the Lincoln mayor race and the wards that cover Beamsville; jurisdiction.name is 'Town of Lincoln' and seat is the ward.
- Ward mapping: for 2026 Lincoln moved from four wards to three (By-law 2025-28). The Town's 2026 polling list puts both Ward 1 polls in Beamsville and one Ward 2 poll in Beamsville (St. Mark school, Mountain St.), so Wards 1 and 2 are both included; Ward 3 (Vineland/Jordan polls) is excluded. Sitting councillors are from the 2022–2026 Wards 1 and 2, whose incumbents are running in the new Wards 1 and 2. Verify against the Town's ward map.
- Sitting council from the Town's '2022-2026 Mayor and Councillors' page; candidates from the Town's Certified Candidates table (and its PDF). One mayoral candidate's home address is printed on the Town's table; it is not copied. Phone numbers are not copied; emails kept only where they read as campaign addresses.
- Mayor Sandra Easton is not on the certified list. Ward 1 Councillor Adam Russell (listed as 'Adam Thomas Russell') and Ward 4 Councillor Greg Reimer are running for Mayor; Ward 1 Councillor Dianne Rintjema and Ward 2 Councillors Tony Brunet ('Tony G. Brunet') and JD Pachereva ('John D. Pachereva') are running for councillor.
- No Niagara Regional Councillor race appears on Lincoln's list of offices to be elected for 2026.
