Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Ridings covering the municipality (share of its land area on a sample grid, not population — Represent census subdivision outline vs Élections Québec's 2026 riding map): Montarville 99.1%. Slivers under 3.0% ignored: Verchères 0.2%, Vachon 0.0%.
- Montarville: Mathieu Lavoie (PLQ/QLP) elected with 12,775 votes, 29.62%, ahead of Jean-François Cloutier (PQ, 28.84%) by 336 votes (0.78 points). Outgoing MNA Nathalie Roy (ÉCF-CAQ) ran here and was defeated, placing 3 of 8 with 19.93%.
- Results are validated: Source flags isResultatsFinaux=true for all 127 ridings (official results after the recensement des votes), last updated 2026-10-08T10:13:52,000-04:00. Élections Québec states the Rapport des résultats officiels du scrutin prevails over web content; judicial recounts, if any, are not reflected here.
- Riding map: Élections Québec's 2026 map (https://donnees.electionsquebec.qc.ca/autres/geojson/circ_2026_sanseau.json, 127 ridings). Represent (represent.opennorth.ca) carries only the 2017 Quebec map (used in 2018 and 2022); its 2017 riding at this centre is Montarville.
- Municipal council from Ville de Boucherville's council page (https://www.boucherville.ca/mairie-conseil/conseil-municipal/, retrieved 2026-10-09): maire + 8 district councillors; no municipal party printed; no individual email addresses published (only the general information@ address). Boucherville's election page states the general election was held 2 novembre 2025. Last municipal general election 2025-11-02 (Quebec fixed date — first Sunday of November 2025; confirmed on official pages of Ville de Longueuil, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Boucherville). Record-level election left as the 2026 provincial election; council rows carry the 2025 municipal election.
