Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Collingwood is a lower-tier town in Simcoe County, with an at-large council (no wards). Mayor, Deputy Mayor and seven Councillor seats included.
- Candidate source: the Town's 2026 Election page, 'Certified List of Council Candidates' section. Sitting council from the Town's Council page; both retrieved 2026-10-09.
- Mayor Yvonne Hamlin is challenged by, among others, Councillor Kathy Jeffery (runningFor Mayor). Councillors Deb Doherty and Chris Potts both run for Deputy Mayor. Deputy Mayor Tim Fryer is not on the certified list.
- No acclamations: every office is contested.
- The Town's list prints some home addresses and phone numbers; neither copied. Candidate emails kept only where campaign-style; personal-looking addresses left null.
