Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Ridings covering the municipality (share of its land area on a sample grid, not population — Represent census subdivision outline vs Élections Québec's 2026 riding map): Marie-Lacoste-Gérin-Lajoie 53.0%; Drummond-Bois-Francs 47.0%.
- The centre point is 231 m from a riding boundary on Élections Québec's simplified (50 m tolerance) map; treat the single-point riding with care.
- Drummond-Bois-Francs: Charles Page (PQ) elected with 11,409 votes, 30.67%, ahead of Myriam Cournoyer (PCOQ, 29.41%) by 466 votes (1.26 points). Outgoing MNA Sébastien Schneeberger (ÉCF-CAQ) ran here and was defeated, placing 3 of 7 with 19.44%.
- Marie-Lacoste-Gérin-Lajoie: Natalie Bisaillon (PQ) elected with 11,323 votes, 36.13%, ahead of Laura Tremblay (PCOQ, 27.29%) by 2,770 votes (8.84 points). No outgoing MNA ran in this riding (per Élections Québec's candidate file); the source does not say who held the seat before the 2026 map or whether they retired.
- Results are validated: Source flags isResultatsFinaux=true for all 127 ridings (official results after the recensement des votes), last updated 2026-10-08T10:13:52,000-04:00. Élections Québec states the Rapport des résultats officiels du scrutin prevails over web content; judicial recounts, if any, are not reflected here.
- Riding map: Élections Québec's 2026 map (https://donnees.electionsquebec.qc.ca/autres/geojson/circ_2026_sanseau.json, 127 ridings). Represent (represent.opennorth.ca) carries only the 2017 Quebec map (used in 2018 and 2022); its 2017 riding at this centre is Drummond-Bois-Francs.
- Municipal council from Ville de Drummondville's council pages (https://www.drummondville.ca/mairie-et-vie-municipale/conseil-municipal/profil-des-conseillers/, page modified 2025-11-13, and https://www.drummondville.ca/mairie-et-vie-municipale/conseil-municipal/profil-du-maire/, retrieved 2026-10-09): Mayor + 12 district councillors, cross-checked against the city's 2025-11-02 release 'Nouveau conseil municipal élu à la Ville de Drummondville' (https://www.drummondville.ca/nouveau-conseil-municipal-elu-a-la-ville-de-drummondville-2/), which also confirms the election date; Carole Léger (4), Isabelle Duchesne (7), Julie Létourneau (9) and Daniel Pelletier (11) were elected by acclamation. No municipal party printed by the city (party null). The council pages publish no member email addresses. Record-level election field left as the 2026 provincial election.
