Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Federal and provincial representatives only, from a Represent point lookup at the city centre. The municipal council and any candidates are not yet captured.
- Fort McMurray is the urban service area of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Council from https://www.rmwb.ca/local-government/mayor-council-and-administration/council/councillors/ and the Mayor page https://www.rmwb.ca/local-government/mayor-council-and-administration/mayor/, retrieved 2026-10-09. Only the Mayor and the six Ward 1 councillors are included: the RMWB election results page (https://www.rmwb.ca/local-government/mayor-council-and-administration/elections/election-results/) labels 'Ward 1 Councillor (Fort McMurray)'; omitted are Ward 2 (Fort McKay, Fort Chipewyan, Fort Fitzgerald: Kendrick Cardinal, Greg Marcel), Ward 3 (Draper, Saprae Creek Estates: Stu Wigle) and Ward 4 (Anzac, Janvier, Conklin, Gregoire Lake Estates: Kyle Vandecasteyen). Election date 2025-10-20 verified at https://www.strathcona.ca/council-county/mayor-council/election/ and https://www.draytonvalley.ca/election/ (Alberta-wide general election day).
