How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Hanover elects its whole council at large; no wards.
- Mayor Sue Paterson is challenged by sitting Deputy Mayor Warren Dickert; the Deputy Mayor seat is open (three candidates).
- Councillors Susan Sakal and Harold Fleet are not on the certified list.
- The town elections page lists one email per candidate; all but one are personal-provider, ISP, or professional-practice mailboxes and are left null. No candidate websites are listed.
- No acclamations for Mayor or council. Sitting-member emails not captured.
