Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Huntsville is a lower-tier town in the District Municipality of Muskoka; the /local region is the whole town. The Town's own certified-candidates page is the source; it prints each candidate's qualifying address, which is not copied.
- For 2026 the Town groups Huntsville Ward 1 and Chaffey Ward 2 into one two-member ward ('Wards 1 & 2'); sitting councillors' seats are shown as the current council page labels them.
- Rod Ward withdrew from the District and Town Councillor race and is excluded.
- Deputy Mayor Dan Armour and District and Town Councillor Scott Morrison are both running for Mayor; Ward 1 Councillor Helena Renwick is running for District and Town Councillor. Mayor Nancy Alcock and Chaffey Ward Councillor Cory Clarke are not on the list.
- Candidate emails kept only where they read as campaign addresses; social-media handles on the page are not copied.
