How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Entire council acclaimed: the Clerk's Form EL20 Declaration of Acclamation to Office (dated 2026-08-24) declares Mayor Dave Plourde and Councillors Martin Dinnissen, Nicole Fortier Levesque, Gary Fortin, Anne-Marie Leblanc, Bruce Newton and Joann Proulx elected by acclamation. They are kept as status running/incumbent-running with acclaimed: true; they take office for the 2026–2030 term.
- Both the certified list and the acclamation declaration are published as scanned images (read visually, 2026-10-09). The town's candidate contact sheet is an Adobe cloud document link (not opened); no candidate emails or websites are recorded.
- Sitting council from the town's Mayor and Council page (term December 2022 – December 2026); the town publishes only a general address (general@kapuskasing.ca), so members' emails are null.
