Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Ridings covering the municipality (share of its land area on a sample grid, not population — Represent census subdivision outline vs Élections Québec's 2026 riding map): Jacques-Cartier 57.5%; Nelligan 42.2%. Slivers under 3.0% ignored: Robert-Baldwin 0.0%.
  • Nelligan: Monsef Derraji (PLQ/QLP) elected with 21,690 votes, 63.7%, ahead of Gary Charles (PCOQ, 14.31%) by 16,818 votes (49.39 points). Monsef Derraji was an outgoing MNA (re-elected).
  • Jacques-Cartier: Gregory Kelley (PLQ/QLP) elected with 22,456 votes, 73.21%, ahead of Pina Di Dio (PCOQ, 10.79%) by 19,147 votes (62.42 points). Gregory Kelley was an outgoing MNA (re-elected).
  • Results are validated: Source flags isResultatsFinaux=true for all 127 ridings (official results after the recensement des votes), last updated 2026-10-08T10:13:52,000-04:00. Élections Québec states the Rapport des résultats officiels du scrutin prevails over web content; judicial recounts, if any, are not reflected here.
  • Riding map: Élections Québec's 2026 map (https://donnees.electionsquebec.qc.ca/autres/geojson/circ_2026_sanseau.json, 127 ridings). Represent (represent.opennorth.ca) carries only the 2017 Quebec map (used in 2018 and 2022); its 2017 riding at this centre is Nelligan.
  • Municipal council: both councils — Kirkland (Mayor and 8 district councillors) and Beaconsfield (Mayor and 6 district councillors; Élections Québec gives Beaconsfield's districts by number only) — from Élections Québec's official 2025-11-02 general-election results files (statut FINAUX), retrieved 2026-10-09 — an official source, so these rows are not marked unofficial. Party is the municipal party as Élections Québec prints it (party null = ran without a party).
  • The municipality's own website is Cloudflare-blocked to this fetcher, so the council page was not read: these are the members declared elected on 2025-11-02. Any later resignation, death or by-election is not reflected (a news search on 2026-10-09 found none). Emails are not captured.
