Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Listowel is a community in the Municipality of North Perth, not a municipality. This record covers the North Perth Mayor and Deputy Mayor (elected at large, including Listowel) and the Listowel Ward councillors only; Elma Ward and Wallace Ward seats are omitted.
- Elma Ward Councillors Matt Duncan and Allan Rothwell are included because both run for Deputy Mayor, an at-large office on the Listowel ballot.
- Candidates from the Clerk's List of Certified Candidates (PDF dated 2026-08-24), read 2026-10-09. Mayor: Doug Kellum (sitting Deputy Mayor) was ACCLAIMED per the Clerk's Declaration of Acclamation to Office of 2026-08-24 (https://www.northperth.ca/news/posts/declaration-of-acclamation-to-office-2026-municipal-election/). The Elma Ward councillors were also acclaimed (not shown).
- Sitting council from the Municipality's Council Members page, read 2026-10-09. Mayor Todd Kasenberg is not on the 2026 list. All three sitting Listowel Ward councillors (Neil Anstett, Sarah Blazek, Matt Richardson) seek re-election; six candidates contest the three Listowel Ward seats.
- The Municipality's 2026 election page prints candidates' qualifying addresses and personal emails: not copied (personal mailboxes left null by the public-role rule). Nomination papers were not opened.
