Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Certified and acclaimed list from the Town notice of 2026-08-25 (retrieved 2026-10-09); campaign websites from the Town's election site, https://newmarketvotes.ca/candidates/registered-candidates/.
- Acclaimed: Mayor John Taylor, Ward 5 Councillor Bob Kwapis, Ward 7 Councillor Christina Bisanz (all sitting members). One school-trustee acclamation (Viamonde) is not captured.
- Candidate emails on newmarketvotes.ca are hidden behind Cloudflare email obfuscation; they were not decoded, so candidate emails are null. Sitting members' official emails were not captured.
- Grace Simon (Ward 1) and Victor Woodhouse (Ward 2) are not on the certified list. Voting runs October 17–26, election day 2026-10-26.
