Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Niagara Falls is a lower-tier city in the Regional Municipality of Niagara; the /local region is the whole city, so the mayor race and the 8 at-large council seats are included.
- The City's certified list carries no Regional Councillor office: under the Better Regional Governance changes Niagara Regional Council is formed from the local mayors plus a provincially appointed chair this term (as recorded for St. Catharines). The current Niagara Falls regional councillors (2022–2026 term) are not captured.
- Sitting council and official emails from the City Council and Mayor page, retrieved 2026-10-09. Councillor Lori Lococo is a certified candidate for Mayor (runningFor Mayor). Councillors Vince Kerrio and Victor Pietrangelo are not on the certified list.
- Candidate names are given as printed on the ballot list (nicknames in parentheses kept). The City's list prints some candidates' home addresses and phone numbers; neither is copied. Candidate emails are kept only where they are campaign addresses.
- No seat was acclaimed (5 for Mayor, 29 for 8 council seats).
