Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Ridings covering the municipality (share of its land area on a sample grid, not population — Represent census subdivision outline vs Élections Québec's 2026 riding map): L'Assomption 60.2%; Repentigny 36.8%. Slivers under 3.0% ignored: Masson 0.3%.
- Repentigny: Nicolas Girard (PQ) elected with 14,604 votes, 36.21%, ahead of Pascale Déry (ÉCF-CAQ, 21.7%) by 5,850 votes (14.51 points). Outgoing MNA Pascale Déry (ÉCF-CAQ) ran here and was defeated, placing 2 of 6 with 21.7%.
- L'Assomption: Maxime Laporte (PQ) elected with 16,351 votes, 41.09%, ahead of Patrick Lemieux (PCOQ, 18.27%) by 9,081 votes (22.82 points). No outgoing MNA ran in this riding (per Élections Québec's candidate file); the source does not say who held the seat before the 2026 map or whether they retired.
- Results are validated: Source flags isResultatsFinaux=true for all 127 ridings (official results after the recensement des votes), last updated 2026-10-08T10:13:52,000-04:00. Élections Québec states the Rapport des résultats officiels du scrutin prevails over web content; judicial recounts, if any, are not reflected here.
- Riding map: Élections Québec's 2026 map (https://donnees.electionsquebec.qc.ca/autres/geojson/circ_2026_sanseau.json, 127 ridings). Represent (represent.opennorth.ca) carries only the 2017 Quebec map (used in 2018 and 2022); its 2017 riding at this centre is Repentigny.
- Municipal council from Ville de Repentigny's Mairie et élus page (https://repentigny.ca/la-ville/vie-democratique/mairie-elus, retrieved 2026-10-09): Mayor + 12 district councillors; districts from the council-training list on https://repentigny.ca/la-ville/vie-democratique/conseil-municipal. Party as printed on the city's 2025 results page (https://repentigny.ca/la-ville/vie-democratique/elections-municipales/resultats): all 13 sitting members were elected for Avenir Repentigny - Équipe Nicolas Dufour (opposition slate: Repentigny ensemble, no seats). Last municipal general election 2025-11-02 (Quebec's province-wide municipal election day; the city's results page is headed 'Élection municipale de 2025' without the day). Official @repentigny.ca emails kept; phone numbers not copied. Record-level election field left as the 2026 provincial election; council rows carry the 2025 municipal election.
