Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Sainte-Foy is a former municipality / sector now inside Québec; the riding is the one containing the /local centre point (1914 m from the riding edge). Other parts of the sector may lie in neighbouring ridings.
  • Jean-Talon: Julie White (PLQ/QLP) elected with 11,522 votes, 31.76%, ahead of Pascal Paradis (PQ, 29.26%) by 907 votes (2.5 points). Outgoing MNA Pascal Paradis (PQ) ran here and was defeated, placing 2 of 9 with 29.26%.
  • Results are validated: Source flags isResultatsFinaux=true for all 127 ridings (official results after the recensement des votes), last updated 2026-10-08T10:13:52,000-04:00. Élections Québec states the Rapport des résultats officiels du scrutin prevails over web content; judicial recounts, if any, are not reflected here.
  • Riding map: Élections Québec's 2026 map (https://donnees.electionsquebec.qc.ca/autres/geojson/circ_2026_sanseau.json, 127 ridings). Represent (represent.opennorth.ca) carries only the 2017 Quebec map (used in 2018 and 2022); its 2017 riding at this centre is Jean-Talon.
  • Municipal council from Ville de Québec's council page (https://www.ville.quebec.qc.ca/apropos/gouvernance/conseil-municipal/membres.aspx, retrieved 2026-10-09): the city Mayor + the district councillors covering this community, municipal party as printed (Québec forte et fière; Respect citoyens). Last municipal general election 2025-11-02 (confirmed on https://www.ville.quebec.qc.ca/apropos/elections-municipales/index.aspx); next 2029. The record-level election field is left as the 2026 provincial election; council rows carry the 2025 municipal election. Council page lists contact forms only (no published email addresses) and office phone numbers (not copied). Sainte-Foy is a former city merged into Québec in 2002; it lies in the Arrondissement de Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge, and all four of its districts (9 Saint-Louis–Sillery, 10 Plateau, 11 Pointe-de-Sainte-Foy, 12 Cap-Rouge–Laurentien) take in parts of former Sainte-Foy; district 9 also covers Sillery and district 12 Cap-Rouge.
