Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Ridings covering the municipality (share of its land area on a sample grid, not population — Represent census subdivision outline vs Élections Québec's 2026 riding map): Beauce-Sud 99.8%. Slivers under 3.0% ignored: Beauce-Nord 0.2%.
  • Beauce-Sud: Jonathan Poulin (PCOQ) elected with 21,966 votes, 58.19%, ahead of Samuel Poulin (ÉCF-CAQ, 22.43%) by 13,499 votes (35.76 points). Outgoing MNA Samuel Poulin (ÉCF-CAQ) ran here and was defeated, placing 2 of 6 with 22.43%.
  • Results are validated: Source flags isResultatsFinaux=true for all 127 ridings (official results after the recensement des votes), last updated 2026-10-08T10:13:52,000-04:00. Élections Québec states the Rapport des résultats officiels du scrutin prevails over web content; judicial recounts, if any, are not reflected here.
  • Riding map: Élections Québec's 2026 map (https://donnees.electionsquebec.qc.ca/autres/geojson/circ_2026_sanseau.json, 127 ridings). Represent (represent.opennorth.ca) carries only the 2017 Quebec map (used in 2018 and 2022); its 2017 riding at this centre is Beauce-Sud.
  • Municipal council from Ville de Saint-Georges's Conseil municipal et Districts électoraux page (https://www.saint-georges.ca/ville/vie-democratique/conseil-de-ville, retrieved 2026-10-09): Mairesse + 8 district councillors (Jean-Pierre Fortier, district 6, is maire suppléant). Cross-checked with the city's communiqués of 2025-10-17 (https://www.saint-georges.ca/actualites/communiques/ville-de-saint-georges-tiendra-des-elections-la-mairie-et-dans-le-district-n-6-seulement: only the mayoralty and district 6 contested, the 7 other councillors elected without opposition; 'Le jour du scrutin se tiendra le dimanche 2 novembre') and 2025-11-11 (first sitting of the 2025–2029 council; Manon Bougie the city's first mairesse). No municipal party printed (party null). Only Brigitte Busque has a published @saint-georges.ca email; the Mayor and other councillors are reached through contact forms. Record-level election field left as the 2026 provincial election.
