Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • The /local region ca-strathroy is the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc (display name 'Strathroy-Caradoc, Ontario'); the whole municipality is covered.
  • Candidates from the Municipality's 'Candidates for Election' page (headed 'Official List of Candidates'), read 2026-10-09. That page prints each candidate's home address and telephone: neither is copied. It carries no campaign websites for council candidates.
  • Sitting council from the Municipality's Council page, read 2026-10-09. Ward 2 Councillor Brian (Bo) Derbyshire runs for Mayor against Mayor Colin Grantham. Ward 1 Councillors John G. Brennan and Frank Kennes are not on the 2026 list.
  • Ward 1 has 7 candidates for 4 seats; Ward 2 has 5 candidates for 3 seats. No municipal office was acclaimed (the London District Catholic trustee seat was).
  • Nearly all candidate emails on the list are personal free-mail mailboxes and are left null by the public-role rule; only mailboxes that name the campaign are kept. Nomination papers were not opened.
