Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Candidates from the Town of Tillsonburg's 'Notice of Candidates for Office — List of Certified Candidates' page, read 2026-10-09. The page lists name and telephone only (telephones not copied), so candidate email and website are null.
- Sitting council from the Town's 'Mayor and Council' page, with @tillsonburg.ca addresses.
- The 2026 notice lists only Mayor (one, at large) and Councillor (six, at large) — no separate Deputy Mayor race. Deputy Mayor Dave Beres is on the Councillor list. Councillor Kelly Spencer runs for Mayor against Mayor Deb Gilvesy. Councillors Chris Parker (listed 'Christopher (Chris) Parker') and Chris Rosehart (listed 'Chrissy Rosehart'; same telephone on both pages) seek re-election; Councillors Pete Luciani and Bob Parsons are not on the 2026 list. A John Gilvesy is a Councillor candidate.
- No acclamations for Mayor or Council (12 candidates for 6 seats). Trustees for Thames Valley DSB, London District Catholic SB and Providence were acclaimed (not recorded). Nomination papers were not opened.
