Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Ridings covering the municipality (share of its land area on a sample grid, not population — Represent census subdivision outline vs Élections Québec's 2026 riding map): Arthabaska-L'Érable 99.8%. Slivers under 3.0% ignored: Drummond-Bois-Francs 0.2%.
- Arthabaska-L'Érable: Tarek Henoud (PCOQ) elected with 18,432 votes, 40.55%, ahead of Alex Boissonneault (PQ, 32.73%) by 3,552 votes (7.82 points). Outgoing MNA Alex Boissonneault (PQ) ran here and was defeated, placing 2 of 7 with 32.73%.
- Results are validated: Source flags isResultatsFinaux=true for all 127 ridings (official results after the recensement des votes), last updated 2026-10-08T10:13:52,000-04:00. Élections Québec states the Rapport des résultats officiels du scrutin prevails over web content; judicial recounts, if any, are not reflected here.
- Riding map: Élections Québec's 2026 map (https://donnees.electionsquebec.qc.ca/autres/geojson/circ_2026_sanseau.json, 127 ridings). Represent (represent.opennorth.ca) carries only the 2017 Quebec map (used in 2018 and 2022); its 2017 riding at this centre is Arthabaska.
- Municipal council from Ville de Victoriaville's Membres du conseil municipal page (https://victoriaville.ca/conseil-municipal-et-elections/membres-conseil-municipal, retrieved 2026-10-09): Mayor + 10 district councillors, matching the city's official 2025 results (https://victoriaville.ca/conseil-municipal-et-elections/elections-municipales: 'élections municipales du 2 novembre 2025'; Alexandre Côté, Yanick Poisson and Christian Rayes elected by acclamation). No municipal party printed by the city (party null). Official @victoriaville.ca emails (mailto links) kept; phone extensions not copied. Record-level election field left as the 2026 provincial election.
